REGULATION OF THE PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

"Tradition and Modernity" 

 

 

 

 

ORGANIZERS

The 1st edition of this photo competition is promoted by "LAG Golfo di Castellammare”, on the occasion of the itinerary event “GAL InContraDanza - Musica, Gusto e Territorio nel Golfo di Castellammare" (“LAG InContraDanza - Music, Taste and Territory in Castellammare Gulf”). 

 

THEME

The theme of competition is focused on the cultural importance of "Tradition" and its connection with contemporary "Modernity'".

 

 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Participation to the contest is free and open to all amateur photographers. No age limits are fixed.  Each contestant will be allowed to post his/her own photographies on the the “GAL InContraDanza - Musica, Gusto e Territorio nel Golfo di Castellammare" facebook fanpage from the 14th of February to the 30th of June 2015. The winner photo will be the one collecting more “like”s on the page.

Exclusively photographies took during the days of the itinerant event will be considered as eligible.

 

 

HOW TO VOTE

Photos can be voted on the ALBUM "CONTEST FOTOGRAFICO" published in the facebook  fanpage "Gal InContraDanza Musica, Gusto e Territorio nel Golfo di Castellammare", which will constantly updated.

 

 

PRIVACY, RESPONSABILITY OF THE AUTHOR AND DISCRETION OF DISQUALIFICATION

Each contestant is responsible for the material s/he will submit for the contest. Therefore, s/he undertakes to dismiss organizers of the contest from any responsibility towards third party, including individuals depicted in the pictures.

The contestant must inform people depicted in the photos in the cases and in the ways foreseen by the act  D. Lg. 30 giugno 2003 n. 196 (30th June 2003 n. 196);  s/he must also obtain their approval to the dissemination of the mentioned images. In no case images can containing sensitive data. In addition, each participant declares to be the only author of the images submitted and that such photos are original, unpublished nor being published, that they do not injure third party’s rights and that participant obtained any approval or authorization of individuals depicted, if necessary.

In order to protect contestants and facebook visitors, organizers reserve the right to disqualify from the contest and do not publish images with subjects and/or form not in compliance with what indicated in the present regulation and/or images violating common rules of public morality, common ethic and decency. Images considered offensive, improper and damaging human and social rights will not be accepted.

 

COPYRIGHT AND USE OF THE MATERIAL OF THE CONTEST

Copyrights on photographies are exclusively property of the author, who authorizes their use for events and publications connected to the contest itself and for no profit activities related to institutional or promotional purposes of the Ufficio Comune Turismo (Common Office for Tourism). Each author is in person responsable for the works submitted; except in case of written prohibition, organizers are allowed to reproduce them in catalogues, publications, CDs and internet   with no-profit purposes and indicating the author’s full name. When the photo will be used, they will be accompanied by the author’s full name and, if it is possible, by contingent explanatory note provided by the auhor him/herself. Personal data provided by the contestants will be used for activities connected to institutional or promotional purposes in accordance with what foreseen by the Act D.Lg. 30 giugno 2003 n. 196 (30th June 2003 n. 196). The works sent to the organizers will not be returned.
